This pot is the centerpiece of my kitchen. It is the only thing I permanently keep on the stovetop, partly because I use it so much, partly because it's heavy and more convenient there, and partly because it's beautiful. I have always opted for red and orange in my other enameled cast iron pieces but realized that just about all food looks more beautiful against the white enamel, especially greens.
